Widely known as ‘’The Land of Leopards’’ is a fraction of Nagarhole National Park in Karnataka. Surrounded by the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve, Kabini is one of the largest contiguous forest habitats.

From the rarest species of flora to endangered species of Fauna, Kabini wildlife sanctuary is a home to vast wildlife population.

What we give you

  • Peace as we drive through the thick woods.

  • As said wildlife happens when least expected, if you are lucky enough, you can sight our national animal, the elusive leopards, the largest bovine (Gaur), Spotted deer, Sambar deer, elephant heard and various species of birds.

  • Photography and post processing assistance both on and off the field.

Itinerary (2N/3D)

Day 1:

  • Check in jungle lodges and resorts (JLR) by noon

  • Check into tents and relax for a while

  • Gather for lunch (Post lunch- Introduction session and getting ready for the Safari)

  • Get into the allotted vehicles for a drive through the woods and fill the beauty of the forest, animals and birds in not just your memory cards of your cameras but also in your hearts.

  • After a good 2 ½ hours of drive in the forest, head back for snacks.

  • Follow up discussion over the Safari, photography fundamentals, reviewing the images and learn the interesting techniques on wildlife photography.

  • Dinner and retire for the night

Day 2:

  • Wake up for a fresh tea and even more refreshing feel of the forest

  • Early mornings give best chances to sight the ‘Big Cats’ and create some fairy tale images.

  • We head out with our cameras anticipating to fill over eyes and the cards with data that we can cherish for long

  • A hot breakfast waits for us as we return from the Safari @ 9:00 am

  • (Post breakfast, return to your rooms to freshen up and rest for a while)

  • Assemble back for lunch

  • (Post lunch we discuss and learn about natural history, tracking the big cats and right approach to photograph them)

  • After a small nap and a tea session, head back to the forest to witness what the forest has in store for you and make plenty of creative images of the sightings we encounter

  • Discussion on the day’s session, new observations and experience over a cup of tea

  • Enjoy the dinner and sleep well for the night

The last Safari of the Trip:

  • Wake up for a good climax in the forest
